Composite Design has a 12,000 square feet manufacturing unit with support offices and services.

We like to think that we comply with all Government Regulations covering Health and Safety. Employment and Welfare. Qualified first aiders are available on site. We operate to the procedures of ISO9000 and are seeking accreditation. Our Manufacturing Director organises and manages the factory floor. He is supported by a Technical Administrator who produces Job Cards, Manufacturing Specifications and Standard Procedures from drawings, and plans the timely manufacture to suit delivery dates agreed with the customer. He is the link to the customer and or the Site Manager as the case may be. Delivery of products is by our own transport and should they be too large then by a number of approved local delivery companies who understand the nature of our products and the needs of our Customers.

The majority of our Manufacturing Staff are long term employees although we use people new to industry who we train by involvement in the manufacture of products on the factory floor under the guidance of the Manufacturing Director. Quality is the responsibility of every individual within the Company and every person responsible for his own performance. A Quality Manager oversees product inspection and ISO 9000 procedures. In addition the Directors also take part in random inspections and audits to ensure quality is maintained.

Normal lead time from the placement of a Purchase Order with us is 4 to 6 weeks and can be and is accommodated to suit the needs of our Customers. The Management team have been trained in current health and safety legislation applicable to their respective areas using an accredited training course, constant reviews are conducted to ensure safety remains of paramount importance and compliant with current good practice. We also have the ability to fabricate finished items in our metal workshop facility which are then incorporated into of GRP products.
