Over the past 5 years a considerable amount of our attention has been given to the building industry to assist in meeting the requirements of Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 1994.
Again in this market sector Fibretech has demonstrated its ability to adapt to the changing climate, developing a process to enable bespoke products to be created without the need to construct expensive moulds. If the design permits our products are constructed using fabrication techniques rather than moulds, this allows Fibretech to produce an endless stream of different configurations. We produce dormers with and with out lead rolls, barrel top and flat top roofed dormers and apex dormers all of which are tailored to suit individual site and architectural requirements. In addition and in the same manor all soffit and fascia profiles can be accommodated from stepped square type to complete cornice detailing. Again in addition we can accommodate all finishes including genuine lead look, tongue and groove and wood grain to suit customer requirements. Our product range is extensive and includes items such Dormer, Door Canopies, Chimneys, Bay Window Canopies, Portico and Pilasters, Columns, Coping, Fascias and complete Roof Units. This is by no means an exhaustive list however it does demonstrate Fibretech’s ability to design bespoke products and carry the design from conception through to installation.
Equally Fibretech does not only undertake to produce a range of components for new builds but is actively participating in the construction of products for large scale renovation projects. This is where our in-house design and construction capabilities are used to create specific products for the restoration of older buildings, these often need a sympathetic approach when designing replacement items as frequently they are of a listed nature. We have provided on numerous jobs items such as decorative corbels and cornicing along with a wide range of period dormers and chimneys all of which enhance the feel of the building. The nature of GRP allows us to replicate all types of finishes and colours again allowing architects the freedom to express their requirements. Clearly our approach in the manufacturing of these components give clients an increased capability to specify such items which if built in a conventional manor would not be economically viable. Contained within this brochure are photographs showing some of our recent successfully completed jobs adding credence to our claims.
